Info on Tarantula FX2000 Proframe - Chinese knock off of GT Pro Performer?
Anyone know about this bike? I've found 1 example of a Tarantula FX1000 and several on a Tarantula BMX2 - but nothing on this model!
I believe it was a GT Pro Performer knock off? (it even had a old school GT front tire (with GT all over it as part of the tread), and maybe didn't sell well so it was dropped?
Any thoughts would be appreciated - I'm hoping it's valuable as a collectible for being a GT copy.
Thanks all!

Well, if it floats your boat and there’s no way you can locate/acquire an actual GT, then enjoy.
But IMHO as far as collectibility, this is worth nothing much, and the fact that it’s a Pro Performer knockoff (or old school big-box store version of what GT was doing) doesn’t increase its value. I see from BMXmuseum.com that people were buying these for like $50 in 2009 or so... and I see some cheap parts on this.
I’d rather buy a GT that needs some work and have fun restoring it- or better yet buy a Dyno Compe or Air something, or a Robinson, etc with some legit California BMX history.
If I just wanted a BMX to cruise on as an adult, I’d look at a modern 24” bike from Fairdale, Sunday, or Stolen.

This buy would be a mistake. Not every item with two wheels is worth buying. Some of your buys were great deals. Consideration up front, having a target for buying is the best way to maximize buying/flip budget.
The better, older BMX stuff has a lot of value (not the box store junk). Learn what to look for and you can prosper. I've been selling a fair amount of vintage BMX stuff lately, pedals and brake calipers in particular. Cheap plastic pedals are worthless. Becoming knowledgeable on BMX can be worth the time of a flipper.

I don't see any evidence this bike has or may have ever had a Rotor or Gyro to allow the front wheel to spin through 360 degrees, which would make this a BMX bike.
I am with Thrifty Bill on this one.
