1992 Bridgestone RB-T Value?

I'm torn over how much to ask for this one.

All bearings overhauled. New tires, tubes, inner cables, bar tape, and saddle. Beautiful dark green. Full Cromoly frame and fork. 53cm CTT. 30.5" stand over. Minor scratches. All OEM components except for the Wellgo SPD/platform pedals.

Thoughts?

The cult surrounding bridgestones will push this up to 400+ easily

Also it's a super nice bike!

Local sale or ebay? Is there a cap where bikes just don't move in Kalamazoo? I know that would be my problem here.

$500+/-

And you know the drill on ebay, fees are charged on the total, including shipping. Then you have PayPal fees, then you have to carefully pack the bike. Finally, buyers win all disputes. So if you can get reasonable value locally, I'd do it.

I was thinking CL. Good bikes move here. Crap bikes or over priced bikes just get repeated over and over and over and over...

I was thinking along this price area. Thank you for confirming my thoughts.

personally, with the Bridgestone name and the touring aspect, I wouldn't accept less than $500.00 for it. It really is a great bike with a cult following.

Last summer, I sold a clean and overhauled Miyata 610 with centerpulls for $425 locally, was asking $450.

Ask $500, list it also in A2 CL.

Sweet bike. I couldn't sell that bike readily at $500 locally though.

This is a must have bike for someone. I think it could reach $500+ on Ebay or possible this forum or CR if someone is looking for one. I know I'd pay about that for one in my size.

Craigslist as we all know is a different can of worms. Struggled to get $225 for a Centurion Elite GT 15 last summer in really nice shape. I'm definitely not saying the Elite GT is comparable to an RB-T, as I would put this bike with the likes of the Centurion Pro, Miyata 1000, and Trek 720 which all could fetch $500 plus, but I'd expect $300 quick dollars on CL or $400 if you're willing to be patient.

That green metallic flake paint is awesome. Great refurb Bill!

Yes, it was spotless.

Really presented like a new bike.
