Repainted Vintage frame?

Hi,
this was posted on a local site and the seller is asking 350 obo. The frame has no decals or any clues to what it could be. Any of you experts would like to help? I'm also considering this as a commuter alongside my PX10 as the Shimano 105 looks pretty nice. What do you guys think this is worth and what frame is this?

$200 value here. Unknown brand and model. 105 is OK, not great. In my market, $350 would be ridiculous, but perhaps your market is better!

Bad rim wear IMHO.

Shimano 105 SC would put it into the 1990s. I see a Tange decal on the fork blade, so likely Asian manufactured and lower mid-range. If you can obtain the serial number it may provide a clue to the manufacturer and identity.

Forged dropouts with adjuster screws and no mounting eyelets, tells me it's higher than lower mid-range. I too would be interested in any dropout marking.

I'm fairly sure it is a 92/93 last year with lugs Schwinn Tempo which would make it a nicer mid level bike with the nice repaint and slightly rough wheels I would put the value at $200

Wouldn’t a ‘90s bike have a unicrown fork?

What makes you think it is repainted? I suspect the decals were removed for some reason.

brake bridge on the back and/or seattube diameter could clue us in closer to what tubeset it is. Id guess its a Columbus Aelle.

Definitely looks made in Japan. So could be Centurion, Fuji, Lotus who knows. Let us know what the serial number on the bottom bracket looks like.
