Date Value if San Marco Saddle.
 

Not looking to sell but trying to find a date and value on for this San Marco Regal saddle, nice heavy leather over plastic construction with coppertone cro-mo rales. Very comfortable for a hard saddle one of the nicest riding I have used. I have looked around and can't seem to find any other examples of this specific saddle online and sold prices on similar stuff is all over the place from $20-$200. As nice as it rides I don't want to keep using it on my beater if it's worth a lot.

Often Plastics add a date dial in the mold.. look underneath it..

no reserve auction will find the value.

Most likely an early to mid 90's saddle, when they started putting on those embroidered textile patches and eventually, whole textile sections on saddle covers. I noticed that such saddles do not sell as well and for as much money as saddles without the textile features because these sections show wear and stains much more than leather does and many C&Vers don't really like the loudish look that all the branding on the patches give the saddle (This one isn't that bad as many others that had lots more textile features and branding). Value, maybe about 40 bucks max. for one in similar, used condition. And that's because there are enough people looking for Regal saddles for their bikes.

Thanks Chombi I did check and find a hard to read date code for 93 which seems to match your info. If it's worth less than a $100 I think I will just ride it worth more as a really comfy hard saddle is worth more as rider than $50 or so i might get for it on Ebay.
