It's impossible to assess value without knowing the bike's condition, location, age, and size. Got pics?

If it's like THIS ONE on the Vintage Lotus Bicycles web site, it was a really nice bike for its era. The Lotus name and Sugino 75 componentry may not have cachet that'll drive the price up, though.

The Sugino 75 groupset was intended to commemorate Sugino's 75th anniversary, but most of the parts weren't actually made by Sugino. The derailleurs are rebadged versions of SunTour Superbe or Superbe Pro. The brakes are Dia Compe RGC-400's with a different finish. Some of the carbon fiber touches, like on the chainrings and brake levers, are interesting.

What surprises me is how many people don't know the brand. I guess I was hanging out in an LBS at the time these bikes were popular, and expensive new. At least to a 13 year old.

Without pics real hard to price if it is a true full Sugino 75 bike in very good condition nice cosmetics and basically ready to go I would say $500-600. The market for for late 80's and early 90's exotic and semi exotic road bikes is way down right now. I would consider one of these on par with higher end Italian, English and American race bikes from the same time frame. If you have any interest in riding and it's not way too big or small i would say keep it.

Trouble loading photos

Thanks all. everything is intact and in good shape, but this bike has been ridden over the years. Paint shows wear. My brother, the owner, just passed the bike to his youngest son as part of his estate. I hope he gets great use out of it. Cheers
