Cannondale model

Got this Cannondale very cheap.
it has Suntour Cyclone derailleurs, Dia Compe Grand Compe brakes.
The only mark is Superbe Pro. Maybe it was equipped with Superbe Pro goup?
Any idea of the model and year?
What's the value?
How should I consider the frame size, from the center of the crank to the end of top tube which is 25", or to the top of the upper tubing, which is 23"?
Thanks

Looks like a SR400, but that's only a guess

Someone harvested some parts off that bike. Late 1980s.

1987 SR1000, missing the tasty Superbe Pro parts.

Serial number will tell you the size Cannondale thought it was. Sizing was metric. In the case of Cannondale, I measure to the top of the top tube.

Serial number will tell you the size Cannondale thought it was, myself, I just stay consistent and not worry about how the mfr did it.
thanks.
so it is a 60 cm frame built in 1987

Yeah, pretty mush the SR1000, as I mentioned, missing all the juicy white Superbe Pro parts. Still a nice one!

Can it be a 87 frame built iwith all the components like a 1986 sr400?
it is weird that nothing is left from a sr1000, not even with wheels, but looks it has the same components of a 86 sr400.

It has the Superbe Pro decal on the chain stay. Thats a ringer for that model. Not that weird around here. How many of us have used bikes as donors, then rebuilt them with something else? I've done it a lot. Doing that with a Cannondale right now in fact. In my case, the bike came with 8 speed tricolor STI. It will leave with RX100 from the bin. Sadly if I sold it with the tricolor bits, it would bring about the same as with the RX100 bits. So I get to replenish my tricolor stash at the cost of time to do the work (plus whatever the RX100 parts are worth, not very much).

In my market, your Cannondale if it had those original parts would not be worth much more than the same Cannondale with the replacements. Meanwhile, all those Superbe Pro parts would bring good money by themselves, in my market at least, more than the complete bike.

Of course, anything is possible.

or as Is?
I was thinking at 2...230$ for the complete bike

Look for the serial number on the seat stay, or chain stay. The first number is the frame size in CM, the second number is the date of mfg, and the third number is production sequence.

I just dusted off my 1987 SR500 after 25 years of not riding and it sitting in my basement. They are nice bikes, and with some clean up, and tuning are a blast to ride.

Its the parts that were special, not the frame. I'd sell it complete. Now if there are ANY remaining Superbe Pro parts, I would swap them out first.

Definitely keep it together to sell, not just the frame. That way you may get a buyer who just wants a rider (and doesn’t care much about this or that group) and not be limited to those who want a project.

i think that price is high, but not by much.

+1 the nice original Gloss white paint and Superbe Pro markings along with the slight difference in chainstays and drops make it vary unlikly it is a different bike. Yet around this time there was no or little difference frame wise between Canaondale bikes the differences were on components and colour finish. All said great bike in very nice condition no issues worth $250-350 and worth a more as a rider if it's your size these are a bit stiff and short so sizing is a major issue it pretty much has to be right to really appreciate how nice these frames are.
