CCM Banana Bike...
This bike belongs to Bicycles for Humanity. When something comes in that they feel I should help with, I get the call. Anyway, any idea what this is worth...

First off, you gotta get that seat straightend out before you advertise it. I know from past experience that CCM bikes have a high degree of sentimental value for some people out there. That would appeal to somebody that was a kid in the early 70's. I really have no idea what it's worth. But, it should clean up real nice. Has lovely chrome bits. Maybe like $150?

FYI, it's a 1974 model. It has the highly desirable Redline tyres, which is interesting because they were OEM spec only on the 3 speed Mustangs with the coaster brake version being spec'd with black walls. Too bad about the ripped and taped saddle. I don't follow hi-riser prices but know the prices for Mustangs far exceed those of equivalent CCM road models. For the most accurate appraisal you should post it on Vintage CCM but you already knew that.

Before listing the bike for sale, the mechanics at B4H will clean up and refurbish the bike. The rims are shot, in my opinion.

Nicely refurbished and ready to ride I think you could get 200 or so CAD. Interesting bike with nice looking paint and chrome and some sentimental value, but it is still on the low end as far as Banna or Muscle bikes go. The ones with high value tend to be the deluxe 3 and 5 speed models which sold for 2x price when new and are about 5x more rare than the basic coaster models.
