Peugeot Identification
Here is another Peugeot to the list that can't be identified with any labels on the bike, but can be identified by you wonderful bike enthusiasts.
Bike URL: https://montreal.craigslist.ca/bik/d...?lang=en&cc=us
I've seen some Peugeot's go for only 100$ and some a lot higher than that. Seeing that this bike is valued at 180$ by the seller, it makes it seem the price can't be too far off it's correct value. Any help identifying the year this was made, and if 180$ would be a reasonable price for it?
I also am open to investing more money into components for the bike to take it a step up.
Again, I appreciate all of the input from every member. Thanks!

Bad example
It is a circa 1982 lugged Carbolite model, but just which one is both impossible and unnecessary to determine. Peugeot used the same basic frame on several different models of low and mid-end bikes. That said, the Carbolite frames offered a pretty nice ride for a low-end bike, and if the parts are in decent working order and the bike fits you, I think it would be worth $150-180 Canadian.

The subject bicycle is an early 1980s, Canadian market, Peugeot UO6 Sport. It was at or 2nd from the bottom of the line, depending on the exact year.
I would suggest that the first thing you do is determine the size of bicycle that you require, as there have been significant differences in frame sizes for the bicycles on which you have initiated threads.
