Possible 1994 GT Talera...
Nice big 21-speed bike and my first GT.
Picked it us a couple of weeks ago covered in a couple of decades of saw dust and find that is a very enjoyable all-terrain bike.
Appears to be all original including the GT saddle and a tall stock handlebar stem.
Ritchey bars may be a later add-on ?

Shifters and RD aren't original along with the bars you mentioned. The color was called "Purple Rain."

Hey Thanks Shelby! I dont know if he even has the bike yet, but Id really like to buy it, IF hes even willing to sell it.
You see, many years ago i had virtually the same bike and someone stole it from my yard probly one of bad kids in the neighborhood....
Nonetheless, the bike had some sentimental value to it for me. sad to see it gone. Now i see that if you look around online, there are people with very similar models...
So.... I saw this one on the forum and i thought Id ask if he may sell it????

Well, actually, I do still have the bike, but it is not for sale.
It is actually still my favourite bike, despite being up against some pretty stiff competition.
Bink
Anyway, it would cost too much to ship. I am in Canada.

Like a lot of these vintage mountain bikes. The utility is worth more than the financial redemption itself
