Mystery Frame With Tange Prestige Tubes, Wisbone Seat Stays -Full Dura Ace Components

A colleague is selling this bike. He's not the original owner & believes it's a custom build. There are no manufacturer decals on the frame, but there is a Tange Prestige sticker on the seat tube. It's full Dura Ace 7402 I believe, with a 7 speed cog & Cinelli Giro D’Italia handlebars. The frame has internal cabling. Any thoughts on what would be a fair price?

Many thanks!

Looks pretty cool, we will need better pics, close ups, components, lugs, any markings and numbers, details, wishbone, etc, etc. to give any reasonable thoughts.

The tange Y fastback would indicate semi custom high end Japanese built frame from the late 80's if so there should be a makers mark and the builders initials on the BB and steerer tube. Great looking bike value hard to tell without positive ID but I wouldn't sell it for less than $500.

Bike has interesting geometry. Rear wheel very close to seat tube. A tight racing design. Tange Prestige frame. Dura Ace bits. Should weigh something like 20 or 21 pounds. Rare stuff. Should be worth well more than the average Japanese IronMan. Just as nice as any Paramount or DeRosa. Ask for $1000.

Tange Prestige...... pretty much one of the best tubesets produced in the mid 80's!
If it is a Tange Prestige frameset, that is a top line bike!
Really worth finding out who built it as provenance will add a lot to its value.

Looks to me like there is probably some decent toe clip overlap. as well as the short stays interesting to know the wheelbase and bb height (Seat tubecand head tube angles too, but not as easily measured.) Crit bike?
Looks nice, c'ept for angle of seat and bars.
More info please!

Value can swing wide based on ID. It's a nice looking frame but many will want to know who made for top dollar. And then it depends on how well known that builder is. If not it's parts plus a custom unknown frame.
