NOS Raleigh (Competition?) fork

Hereís a fork, nos, and Iím trying to narrow down exactly which one it is, I think maybe competition, Iím also trying to figure out what itís worth on the high end, let me know

The color, absence of rack/fender braze-ons and lack of chrome leads me to believe it is a higher-end Raleigh, maybe the Professional or a track fork

Looks a lot like that professional

do you think it might be a track fork, I think itís more likely a professional, track fork probably wouldnít be drilled, any way to narrow down year, and approximate VALUE?

Looks like a 1977 Professional MK V. The 1976 catalog shows a chrome fork.

You're probably right, not a track fork.

Are you thinking itís 78 then (?)

And it looks like fork crowns may be the distinguishing mark between one year and another, since they used the same color and everything else was pretty similar, any idea which crown would have had that sort of circular cut up right in the middle of it, at the bottom, that seems like the most distinctive thing about it, or were you just quoting Ď78 to add detail, knowing itís the same as 77?
