ItalVega's ID Colors: Which is Correct?
Okay, ItalVega Gurus, I have a question I'm hoping someone can shed light on. I'm refurbishing a '73 ItalVega & repainted the gold headpost "crest" with the same color combo that was on there originally: red on top; green below. (See attached photo; prior to me painting.)
But then I found (and have seen) where the crest colors are reversed and truer
My ItalVega. Note the remnanst of "red" & "green" paint.

to the Italian flag: green on top; red on the bottom (see the other photo for reference.)
Which is correct? I don't mind repainting what I've already done as I want to get this as accurate as possible, but I'm curious WHICH IS CORRECT?

Agreed, I've seen actual badges with both colour orientations, so I'd go with the orientation indicated by the remnants on your badge.
