Schwinn Mesa mountain bike
Hi.
Today I saw a schwinn mesa mountain bike, with suspension folk at Goodwill. It is a bidding item and bid is already $35. what do you think, if I bid it out below $80?
Thanks.
Dan.

I would bid $40 tops. I don't know the year, but it is most likely a high-tensile steel frame and low end components; or pass on it and search for a better quality bike. Another consideration - if it was donated to Goodwill, it probably needs a lot or work to make it useful.

The Mesa is one of those bikes that could be a decent find, or could be garbage- depending a lot on the year. and of course, as with any bike, the condition. post a link here and maybe we could give more info. the problem is that the name lasted a long time in the schwinn line up and its quality swung wildly over the various years.
