Old Shimano 500 hubs ?

I bought a Concord Pro 10 today.
It has the hubs marked Shimano 500.
I cannot find these hubs on-line.
Any Info about them? Year and quality?

I have not seen these before. The only Shimano 500 products I've seen are derailleurs, that were introduced for the 1975 model year and produced through 1978 and possibly 1979. They are definitely not in the 1980 catalogue, having been replaced by Altus and the Altus components aren't listed as "new" in the 1980 literature, so presumably they were also available in 1979 and that 1978 was the last year for 500 derailleurs.

Regardless, 500 was one step below 600 and one step above 400. Only the 500 derailleurs appear in my 1975, 1976, 1977 and 1978 catalogues. However, it's worth noting that your hubs have a label similar to that seen on some 600 hubs. The 600 hubs with these labels do not appear in the mentioned catalogues either but appear to be late 1975 to 1976, as an oil clip was introduced for 1977. I'd assume that you hubs are the same late 1975-1976 vintage.

Given the assumed vintage, there may be a date code on the barrel. If not, we may be able to establish the vintage from the frame's serial number or date codes on other components.

Thank you, T-Mar.
The bike had Shimano 600 Arabesque front derailleur and shifter, the rear derailleur is a Suntour, replacement probably. Dia-Compe brakea, the front being black. I will take more pictures and check for dates on components.

Also, I can see that the crankset is stamped with August 1975. This and the S/N fits perfectly with the late 1975 to 1976 vintage suggested for the hubs, even though they're not in my catalogues for this period. Thxs for posting and contributing to the research. It's always nice to find out about something that you haven't seen before.
