Chrome Fuji
Hey all,
browsing the various sales around and I found this. Chrome bikes always interest me and I can't tinder anything in a catalog to match it. I'm wondering if it started its life painted and was stripped? I only think so because it has no logos other than the headbadge. Seems like some chrome fuji ATBs are worth only like $50 and I dont want to overpay for this. It has a distinctive head lug with three pinholes that i figure will help the lug gurus among you. Anyway info and guesstimate of value would be keen. Thanks!

Boom era Fuji Newest frame, stripped of paint and having a replacement fork.
Edit: Very little, if any, OEM components. I'll defer to others on value, given the lack of a drive side photograph.

I would agree that it was a very nice boom bike either Newest or Finest, As it it is presented not worth much being stripped of pretty much everything original including the paint and rebuilt with what looks to be mostly lower end 90's parts. Has the look of a bike that was scrapped that someone piicked up out of the trash and did a bin build out of with whatever was handy. I would say your right to pass on this one. It would have to be basically free for it to make since getting this one.

I'd buy that early Newest frame in a heartbeat for $50 by itself, but I love early Fujis. Wish it was near the Motor City!
