Vintage CILO ID Please
Interested in this Cilo. Cant find the model doing my own quick search. The "Ultra Sport" on the top tube doesnt help the search. Owner said shimano 600 components. Only 2 pics I have for now.
If anyone can put a model/year/price together for me I would greatly appreciate it. Looking to buy in a day or two.

A drive side picture would be a big aid but the scalloped locknut on the headset suggests 1984-1987 Shimano New 600EX and the brake calipers also appear to be from this group. It also has aero brake levers and SIS shift levers which, if OEM, would narrow the range to 1986-1987. However, these were also common upgrades. Cilo had a model with New 600EX and Columbus Aelle tubing that was simply called the Cilo Aelle. It could also be a higher grade frame that was custom built with New 600EX,as this was not uncommon.

Here are more photos. It does appear to be the Aelle model with Columbus tubing. All things considered what’s the approx value?
im getting a great deal I’m thinking.

Yes, that's definitely a Columbus Aelle decal and, as suspected, it's almost certainly been upgraded to indexed shifting, as that is a a 600 Ultegra rear derailleur, which was the successor to New 600EX. Original price was $500-$600 US, depending on the exact year. This one is is only fair in terms of cosmetic condition and could use a complete overhaul. It definitely needs a new saddle and handlebar tape. Given the condition and time of year, I'd value it at $125 US for an average market.
