Value

I have a 1974 or 75 Schwinn LE Tour Opaque blue in excellent condition, one owner with all original parts except brake pads and tires that I am thinking about selling. How would I go about determining its value?
Thanks

Look for similar bikes on Ebay that have sold.

In my area, freshly tuned up with all bearings recently regreased, new tires and tubes, and good brake pads and cables, $125-150.

Like this one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-197...p2047675.l2557

I sold one a couple years ago, and after 3 weeks with no offers, finally took $85 for it, and it had new tires and cables, and was completely refurbished. I only took the low offer, because the fellow wanted a San Marco saddle I had for sale as well, and I made good money on the saddle. I agree with cb400bill, $125-150.

Here's the OP's photo:

Nice bike, and apparently in good condition. Some of the taller bikes are more difficult to sell.

The Le Tour appears to be mid-range for Schwinn, but there are quite a few nicer bikes out there. So, I'd agree. $100 to perhaps $200. It depends a bit on where you are, and whether you get lucky.

"A bit"?

Marketing is everything. "Place" might be the most important part when it comes to selling a vintage bicycle.

OP, always feature photos of the drive side. That blue paint is the tits! Take photos outside to show buyers it's a rider.
