Bikes: Windsor Rover 1.0 (Low cost bike but solid). I really need to upgrade. Looking at Specialized Allez Elite ($$) or Trek Domane SL5 ($$$)

Ciocc - World 77

Would you please provide some estimates on selling price? Thank you!

I am trying to determine what I've and if it has any worth (to sell).

Ciocc World 77. Full Campagnolo group set. 6 sp cassette. Decent condition and quite rideable but does have a few chips in the paint. All original decals as well.

Hello and welcome to the forums. Ciocc has a good following and it certainly has some value to it. 6spd is probably a freewheel rather than a cassette.
you can't post pics until you have 10 post. You can email me a few good pics and I'll get them posted for you.

Nice looking bike. Appears to be Columbus SL frame and fork and Campagnolo Nuovo Record group except for those brake levers.

It is not full Campagnolo with those brake levers! But otherwise, lovely bike. And in my size!

Super Record headset, seatpost and crankset, a Rolls saddle, and are those Cobalto brake calipers?

I can't identify the clincher rims.

You might find a buyer around here.

Note is has the "pintail" lug tips and the "early" forkcrown engraving which I would say are desirable features and PERHAPS an indication that's a Pelizzoli-built frame (prior to his Ciocc brandname sell-out) but not a guarantee.

Well it does have the Pelizzoli signature on the top tube, just ahead of the seat lug. It also has dual bottle bosses and a front derailleur hanger. So, I'd say it is circa 1982-1983, after Conti stepped in but before Peliziolli left. This appears to have been built from a frame, as these typically rec'd a modified Super Record group and this one definitely has a Nuovo Record rear derailleur.

True but that "signature" decal was in use for many years after the Conti Bros. bought him out. Also of note is this frame does not have the World Champion globe decal that commemorated the San Cristobal and Nurburing victories.
