Help Identifying Bianchi

My husband was given this bike- all we know is that it is an older Bianchi frame from probably the 90's. I have looked all over the frame for a serial number and can't find one, which makes me think it was probably repainted at some point. I have photographed the markings I was able to find and some of the components. Could anyone help me figure out the model/year of this bike? Thanks so much.

Hello and welcome to the forums. That is from around ‘82 or ‘83, I’ll look it to be sure the model after work. The wheels are replacements.

Your Nuovo Racing 12 Velo (12 speed) appears to be a 1981 judging by the color, decal style and the Universal 77 brakes. Sadly the front wheel looks to be severely damaged, and I hope the frame isn't damaged as well. At some point the rear wheel was replaced as it should be a quick release style as well.

The Nuovo Racing was a great basic racing bike built in Italy. This one needs a good deal of attention to make it a good safe rider again. A good inspection of the frame to determine if it is damaged should be first. Then a good overhaul and cleaning. A new pair of wheels will make it look much nicer and make servicing a flat on the rear much easier.
