99? Trek Mutlitrack 720

I'm looking at selling my fiances bike. She recently purchased a new Trek and tasked me with selling the old one. I believe its a 99 not positive on that. But its a Trek Multitrack 720, its like a darkish green with gold lettering. I tried checking the serial number but its under a plastic bracket that I didn't want to remove. Just looking for some helpful info.

Yes it’s completely rideable, it’s been serviced regularly for the last two years. She’s been using it for her triathlons. Just decided to upgrade.
