80's Bianchi Campione
First time poster, noobie biker 
I'm thinking about buying this bike from craigslist.
Sfbay.craigslist /sfc/bik/d/san-francisco-vintage-original-80s/ 6862507942.html
Seems to be in ok condition, just sat around for a long time.
Talked the seller to $450, maybe could get down to $400. Is it worth that much?

The subject bicycle is a mid-range model, circa 1982. C&V Bianchi are one of the most sought brands. Consequently, they command premiums, especially those with celeste paint and pantographed components. From that perspective, the price may be warranted. However, if you can resist succumbing to celestitis, that $450 will buy you a much better bicycle in another brand.

...I'm uncertain about the current state of affairs, but back when classic steel bikes were more popular and commanded higher prices here in the Bay Area, it was inadvisable to post a link to your CL ad in your inquiry. Much better to simply get enough status here from your number of posts to be able to post up images you pull from the ad, when you ask your question.
Things are less competitive now, and like @T-Mar said, that's a mid level (but still nice condition) Bianchi. Hard to say what happened. I think most of the people in the Bay Area who were the hard corps flippers figured out something else to do for money. Thus prices have come down more toward the national norms, but are still a little higher...especially now at the beginning of the good weather season.
