Have an opportunity perhaps. Seller is asking $250.00 plus shipping. Any opinions? I'd say it is in very good, not mint condition.

...get some better close ups of the fork. It might just be the light, but it looks like someone might have polished off a great deal of corrosion, and in the process made it less shiny. It's not a big deal, and you can always just prime and paint it to match the frame. But for 250 bucks for just the frame, I'd expect decent chrome.
Masi made a good product back then. So if it's your size and you're willing to spend the money to build it up (or have a donor bike in mind), you'll probably enjoy the ride.
I have too many bikes, so I'm less tempted to buy stuff I can't inspect in person.
If you do buy it, make certain you specify that you want it shipped with dummy axles in place. Lots of stories here over the years about frames damaged in shipping.

What 3alarmer said about the fork. Chrome is shiny, not gray. I would want to see that in person as well. I have owned a couple of these. The market is soft. $250 + shipping and a weird fork. There are a lot of frames I would rather own for a little more money. My 2¢. One of the frames I had.

Thank you both. I had offered up less due to lack of access to see it personally, and all three offers were auto-rejected.

There was a batch of frames that were rejected, the info is quite scattered, the M on the fork sticks in my mind. Anyway, these were sold off as a group and not sold as Masi but the rumors were widespread. I have seen one that was repainted as a Masi, could not locate the images to compare, I recall the bottom bracket did not have the "M" but a stylized set of three slashes.
