Lambert value?
Approximate value of a fair condition Lambert Professional, with what appears to be the dreaded “death fork”? Appears to have original crank, brakes, stem and bars. Have only seen photos. Seller is asking $450. Seems high to me.

Generally needs pic to value but this is crazy high for a bike with a crappy fork, straight gauge chrome moly tubing, and likely a weird bottom bracket.

There's no reason to deal with a seller with like this. I'd move on to a bike worth owning at a price worth paying.

I would agree the price is high for the current market. I see these sitting on CL in my area for half that price and not moving. If it is in real good ready to ride with the death fork I would say $250 or so in most markets.

Thrifty Bill
Many Lamberts had odd parts, like the pressed in place bottom bracket with the straight (no taper) spindle ends. Really not much value there. I had two. Both left at a much lower price than the $150 mark. Its on my list of "never again". OK, I'd give $25 for one just for the Crane RD most came with. But other than that, no thanks. There are too many nicer options out there.
