Trek 1420 Aluminum road bike
Trek 1420 Aluminum road bike, size 50, Shimano 105 components - $275
"This bike has recently been tuned up and is ready to go! Features Shimano 105 hubs, brake levers, brake calipers, and shift levers. Appears to be almost all original parts, and is in excellent shape overall. Has Continental tires in almost new shape. This bike rides, shifts, and stops great. Size is 50 cm, which means it would probably best fit someone 5'2"-5'6"."
Is this a good deal? I have been researching online for a few days and it seems a bit high.

I paid 260.00 for a Trek 1200 in Atlanta. 200-300 is about the going rate for those older Treks.

Round tube aluminum Treks are nice rides. The later Alpha series with the triangular downtube, not so much.
Around here, the variable that determines value the most is brifters. With, $300+. Without, $175-250.
