Sekine Sun Tour
I am wondering when this bike was built was it in Japan or Canada? What would you value it at? Info I have pulled from the bike: where handle bars slide into frame “Sun Tour” - “World Finest Bicycle by Sekine” and “Crome Molybdenum Tubing Num” are written across the frame - Frame # 42055 - Handle bars read: “Sakae Custom” and “Road Champion” on the other - Brake Grips “Mafac” - Seat “Lycett Lavenir” New to forum not able to post pics - Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the forums, The serial number that you have provided is incomplete but based on the CrMo tubing, World's Finest Bicycle decal and SunTour components, what you sounds like a circa 1972 Sekine SHR. This was just around the time that plans were being formalized for Sekine Canada but before the opening of the Canadian division. You can confirm the origin via the seat tube decal. Those assembled in Canada will have the decal mentioning Sekine Canada while the Japanese assembled bicycles don't and sometimes mention Beacon Cycle. This model was typically seen in an olive or magenta colour.
I'm surprised that somebody updated the SunTour VGT/V-Compe derailleurs to Campagnolo Nuovo Record but that's a big bonus for you, as they have far higher value, even if they don't perform as well. The GB handlebar stem, brake levers and saddle are also replacements. The handlebars are original, as is the Sugino Maxy crankset. I can't identify the brake calipers from the photos. The rims appear to be concave models (Weinmann?) so the wheels may be replacements or at least rebuilt.
