Description:

Large frameset 56/58cm
Fuji, Triple butted Valite tubing

UPGRADED LIST:

* Upgraded Crankset to Shimano RX100
Triple ring (Capable of climbing ALL HILLS!)
* Cassette (custom 28T & 32T last 2 big cogs for hill climbing)
* Center convenient brakes (for easy braking option)good when

* Converted front lever shifting from down tube shifters

No. Cobbled two bikes together to make one. RX100 is old and was crappy at its best. The RX100 brifters (brake/shift lever combo) did not have long lives. Failure was the option. Frankly, there are newer bikes with oem parts still on them in good working order for the same if not less money.

The Shimano RX100 components are from the 1990s and were 4th from the top in Shimano's hierarchy of road groups.Personally, I've always considered them good performing and very good value. A triple butted VaLite frame should be from the mid-1980s and along the lines of a Sagres. While it's difficult to provide accurate evaluations without pictures, it does sound overpriced.

It does have a custom cassette and convenient brakes. Inconvenient brakes are not so good.

I would agree while likely a nice mid level bike that the price seems high. The market is way down typical mid level good but not great condition Japanese built bikes with DT shifter's just don't move sell in most markets for over $200.
