What is this wood wheel bike?

Can you help me identify and ball park value this bike? I have only the frame and one wooden wheel. No head badge and no other parts were found
with it. I know itís not much to go on but itís all I have. Itís not much but it still exists. Might be just wall art? Thanks for looking.

...it seems to be the remains of a very old track bike. They had wooden wheel rims and were usually ridden on board tracks, often indoors. Maybe someone else can speculate on value, because I don't know.

You might wish to inquire about this over at thecabe.com forum.

It is more up their street...

The bottom bracket shell for a one-piece chainset might suggest it was not intended for track.

c. 1930 Colson Flyer track bicycle

...I don't think it's a Colson, but might be contemporaneous, based on some of the details.

I would agree it is 1920's track bike based on the style of dropouts and and BB specific to a nicer one one piece one speed crank.
