Suntour 7-speed freewheel (12-23t)
Does anyone sell these on ebay? What do you get for 'em?
I know I can't really sell this locally on craigs. I was wondering if I should install this on a flip bike that currently has a new Sunrace 7-speed or sell it on ebay.

7 speed HG type freewheels are a pretty common item. You can find brand new ones anywhere from $15 to $35. So, I don't think you should expect to get much for that old Suntour freewheel. Unless that's exactly what somebody wants. So, put it on ebay & ask for $15 and see what happens.

I feel like there ought to be a little extra value to it with the 12T cog, SunTour quality, and low miles. Most of the new freewheel market seems to have settled on 14-28 types at this point.

As @ThermionicScott suggests, 12/23 is a good range for a vintage road enthusiast.
One can get 11T freewheels, but they are almost all with mighty large low range sprockets and a minimum of 2T jumps.
I can see a little wear on that, especially on the 3rd sprocket, as well as wear on the removal notches.
I don't think I'd be too greedy, but perhaps start around $30, and see where it ends up.

Agreed the 12 is helpful. If the price is right, I'd buy this freewheel just for the 12 tooth outer. I paid $25 recently for a very clean maillard 12-28 7 speed freewheel.

Real nice condition these go for $30-35 and about $60 nos. Pretty much any of the nicer Suntour's get at least $25 pus shipping on ebay right now and ship nicely in a flat rate envelope or small box so there one of the better bikes parts to sell online. You could also sell it here on the forums with a membership for $40 or so shipped fairly easy.
