Bridgestone Identification
I'm looking for a college cruiser for my sister and stumbled across this Bridgestone on craigslist- I literally can't find a shred of information about this bike on the internet and am not sure how much it's worth. I'm also hesitant because it's alum and not steel. Any help from those more knowledgeable much appreciated.

I believe that this may be a JDM product not normally sold in USA.

Sorry- I wasn't sure it was aluminum. It just seemed to be larger diameter tubing and bent in a significant enough way that it looked more like aluminum bikes than steel vintage ones.
Thanks for the JDM tip, at least I know why it doesn't exist in american web search now

It's very clean. It's very cute. I especially like the (relatively) modern take on a skirt guard. I also agree that it's almost certainly steel and Japanese market. However, unless there has been a big resurgence of which I'm not aware, my big concern would replacement tyres for the 22" wheels. Regardless, even without that concern, it's not a $150 bicycle in the current market conditions.

If you are looking for a small wheel bike, then the new Bikesdirect model looks a lot better. Mercier Nano, has standard wheel sizing and modern standard parts. Not my thing personally.
Depending on the size you need, there are a lot of better choices on the Charlotte C/L right now at a similar price.
