Murray Spectra 10

Hello! I have a Murray spectra 10 that I found on the side of the road. I wish I could post pictures but this is my first post so it wonít let me.

Itís all red with the spectra 10 logo in white across the top tube. I found some pics like it of spectra 10s from the 80s but none of them were the exact same.

The ones from the 80s have a big black stripe across the seat tube and mine has none. Itís completely red.

Some other details is that the frame is rusty in some spots but I cleaned of the rust on the chrome looking parts and polished it. Iím very curious to know what itís worth.

Hi! Most Murrays were not worth a lot, the kind of first bike bought at a department store type of thing. Many of us started on one, or a Huffy, Free Spirit, etc... they made millions and millions of 'em. So I'm gonna say $50 if it's a rideable 10-speed. If it's never had its tires replaced, and is rusty, less.
So if you need a bike to ride, it'll be easy to work on, but don't put a lot of money in it. If you're looking to sell it, same: clean and lube it, make sure the brakes work, get cheap, safe tires on it and clean it and someone can pay $50 and have a serviceable ride.

Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately, the bicycle has negligible value. It is an inexpensive early 1980s, department store level bicycle in poor condition. Link to OP's photos:
