Since you can't post photos yet, you could help us out by doing a little homework. Start by using google images to try to identify the bike, better yet, use a photo sharing site and point us to the link.....

Clean it up if you want to sell it. The bike shortage during our pandemic has boosted bike prices. In NY people are trying to get $300 to $400 for UO-8s. Plenty of drawbacks (27" tires, steel rims, cottered steel crank set, fragile plastic deraileurs and shifters, hi-ten frame), but they ride very nicely. Different pricing for different places, though. Clean and useable, that bike should be somewhere around $150 +/ - for a local sale in a good market in normal times (now ... ?). Low price around $75 to $100. The paint, chrome, and decals look good on yours. If the leather saddle isn't burnt toast it is a big plus.

There should be a sticky at this top of this forum about how the Peugeot you (as in anyone) found is a UO8 and here are the many pros and cons of your find

thank you for the pic assist!
model is UO8 as mentioned above
date is late 1971 or early 1972
1971 was nominally the last year for this model of Simplex quick release skewer
however, 1972 was nominally first year for this model of chromed steel NERVAR chainguard
the cycle's Simplex Prestige gear mech may exhibit date markings as here -

cycle's Rigida SUPERCHROMIX rims may have a date mark inside a small diamond symbol -

---
brake levers appear to be the only component which has been changed from the original

Bike looks to be in pretty good shape, although the dried mud at the bottom bracket hints at possible water damage; paint looks good, too, Green is one of the least common colors for the UO-8, so that might boost the value by a small amount.

At $200.00 CND, I passed on this very clean old Peugeot. Complete with fenders, lights and generator, I offered $100 and felt that even that was a bit much, for me...

The AGDA saddle, under the gel cover, was near mint. Everything seemed to have seen little use. The bike even sported new tires, installed by the owner, to help with selling the bike...
