Vianelli Super Pista. What's it worth?
Hi All,
A friend of mine currently owns an almost brand new Pashley Guv'nor that he paid close to $2,000 CAD for in 2017.

He's getting the bug to try something new and recently came across a local Vianelli Super Pista. He's thinking of straight trading, if not maybe asking for a bit of money ontop the sellers end. Seller is asking $700 for the Vianelli.

What do you think?
Thanks!

- Columbus Tubing
- Shimano 600 groupset
- Araya wheelset

Thanks!

I would highly recommend not going through with this deal, however, that’s just my opinion. For starters, either the Pashley has no BB drop, or the two frames are different sizes. Second, I think your friend can trade for a lot better if he’s set on trading.
Cheers!

Agreed that there is very minimal BB drop, the symmetry and design of the frame has you riding very stretched out so he is much more interested in a road bike.
A couple of things to note:
- Upon further research, Vianelli had some collaboration with Marinoni so that's promising.
- The owner also had it appraised and it's "worth" $900. The owner is also willing to throw in $100 extra for the trade.
- It's had a full $200 service just last week.
