Older Banana seat Bicycle
Hi all as some of you know my grampa fixes and sells old bikes as a hobby on occasion we get in something that is a bit special not the usual late 80's to mid 2010's bikes he usually works on. Well yesterday we were given an old I think 1970's cruiser? With the name SratoStreak 2 on the cross bar and Montgomery Wards on the down tube it's a 20 in I believe boys bike in yellow, and we are wondering if it's worth anything I know the banana seat by its self can bring $20-30 but in wondering what the bike is worth and how careful we need to be when replacing tires and tubes as Grampa's main goal is to get bikes in rideable condition again so they can be used by kids but if we should leave this one alone or if it's very valuable we want to know thanks.
No pictures sorry won't let me post with them.

You'll need to wash it.
If your grandpa knows how to clean the rust should be ok, if he doesn't, only wash it.
The frame is special, and you can find only a few online.
In my opinion it can bring you at least 300$, probably more.

My father used to fix and sell bicycles and he always used an SOS pad to remove rust from chrome. The soap in the pad acts as a lubricant and cleaner which minimizes scratching of the chrome.
