Not For Sale Vintage....

Hello all. I just wanted to show you how I spent my COVID19 stay-at-home activities. This 1998 Cannondale F1000 was stolen from me in 2001. I had to somehow "get it back." Found it on Craigslist, this spring for $85. Spent another $900(damn COVID pricing!) building it to 1998 Volvo-Cannondale Team race configuration, 'ala then-World XC Champion, Alison Sydor. Tinker Juarez confirmed the build accuracy, by signing it off. This will not be hanging from garage rafters. It will be ridden several times a year....only on smooth XC trails:

Looks great! My COVID project was saving a 1998 F2000 from the dump. It had a ton of stuff wrong with it but I went the easy route and used modern components instead of searching out the *correct* replacements
