Hello from Bend/Central Oregon as well
Thank you for allowing me to join this forum. Awhile back I was doing some research on this forum about a particular model of bike. It just so happens that my youngest daughter purchased a used (very good quality) Cadex ALR-1 road bike, circa 1993. It has Shimano 105 components, Campagnola rims, 59 cm frame and is a real beauty and ready to ride. She loves it, but...the reality is that the frame is too large for her.
She's a second year college student and we are going to try to sell the bike for her. We really don't have a clue about its value. When I did some research, I saw that 10 years ago someone had the exact same bicycle and was told that the value could be around $300. I am trying to get a sense whether the price in today's market would be similar or if the value has increased.
As well, we'd love to know where would be the best place to try to advertise this bicycle. We could try Ebay, Craigslist, FB marketplace, but wonder if it would be better to try bicycle forums. Thanks so much!

Without pics, the best advice I can give is to clean it up as best as possible and list on your local Craigs with the very, very best photos you can possibly take of the drive-side of the bike in the shade of a sunny day with an uncluttered background for $200 and drop the price by $20 every two weeks. If you don't sell by November, remove the listing and relist in March. Outside of a few specific Japanese models, vintage Asian aluminum road bikes aren't in demand.

estimated value of our ALR-1 CADEX roadbike
I have photos but as a newbie can't post them. Does this same rule apply for the marketplace? Do I need to get to 10 posts before I can post photos in the marketplace part of Bike Forums? Thank you
