Olmo Competition Special value

Hey guys! New to this site and been offered this classic Olmo bike. Was hoping someone could help me to determine the value of it. I believe it is an Olmo Competition Special, may 1982/1983, equipped with full Campagnolo group. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been looking at my own 80s Olmo collecting dust lately and starting to ponder the possibility of selling it. Will be interested in seeing what the gang here has to say about yours.

My opinion is you have a very nice Olmo on your hands. It would be helpful to know the tubing (can’t quite make out the Columbus sticker on the seat tube) and which Campagnolo group this is. I’m guessing the latter will be answered here.

Off the cuff estimate, probably $450 +/- $50. I want to believe it’s worth $600+ but we’ll see where the others come in.

The original Athena group.

If the fork looked normal, I'd say $600.

Yikes. I originally chalked that up to dirty chrome and poor photography. Taking a closer look it does appear to be some sort of splatter grey finish. Thatís a value killer for sure.

Yeah, the owner says that the fork is in good condition, but the chrome layer just got flaked

Excellent project opportunity to sand it down and wax or maybe clear coat it.
