Just wondering how valuable these bikes are;
My friend has this bike, it is all original but in a tired condition. It works well but really needs a complete mech overhaul, paintwork and vinyl is all a bit worn, typical for a 30 y.o daily driver....
Ill get some pictures up asap, sorry.
He uses it but gives it no love, so I am working on a plan to exchange it for the Diamond Back Ascent or my nice Specialized Hardrock....

You'd have to check eBay or Craigslist for the "value", but a 1991 Bridgestone MB2 is a very desirable bike with a full chromoly frame and Deore components. What's not to love?

Quite. Were not so interested in money value as worthwhile restorable value. I would restore it to its former glory and then beat it.

People collect them more than others, so that raises it's worth. They make good all around bikes. Sold one recently in poor shape for $125 when I had a rider GT that I struggled to sell at the same price.

It really depends on the market and condition, but it's worth more than your accent and hardrock combined.
In today's covid market, I'd estimate between $250-$350 USD in my market.
