Schwinn Traveler Mixte?

I'm thinking this bike would clean up nicely. What do you think for $50? I've got a Le Tour mixte, that I ride a lot.... currently working on a '83 Voyageur, but I just like the look of this one. Does anyone know where this stands in the hierarchy of good, better, best?

That's a step-through, not a mixte. Not even a "sort of" mixte like the ones with the extra stays that extend from the "top" tube to the dropouts. Still a very clean bike for its age. Pretty close to entry level given the Ashtabula, etc In today's market, given the condition, it's easily a $50 bike.

Is there a four-digit number stamped on the head badge? (You may need a magnifier to read it.) That will indicate the year.

The pedal car is pretty cool, too.

OK, thanks. I wondered about the frame. I appreciate you clearing that up for me!

This great diagram, posted here in 2009 by "Ghrumpy" show this Traveler bike as a parallel type frame as compared to my Le Tour, a mixed type frame. Thanks for your comment. Learning!

Brought it home tonight. Serial number on left side on the rear fork: K422694. It's a "Schwinn Approved," bike, so built in Japan I believe.

Is there another shorter number on the right side dropout?

Look for the head badge number, too.

Thanks for responding.
The right side dropout is blank, as is the head badge-no other numbers on this frame...
