1968 Kolbe Hessland German Bicycle
Hello all!
The forum won't let me post pictures yet, but I just purchased a 1968 Kolbe Hessland bicycle. It had one owner who received It as a gift in germany when she was 12 and she has had it ever since. Now it is in my hands and I am interested to find out more about the bicycle. If anyone has any information I would definitely like to know more!

Hello Mason,
Evidently the Kolbe Hessland marque fell to Bauer at some point.
Here is an example which appears to date from the early 1970's.
The head emblem and downtube transfers state Hessland yet there is a transfer on the top tube stating the cycle is manufactured by Bauer.
It wears a K for Kolbe transfer on its fork blades.
