1970/1971 Raleigh Grand Prix worth $50??

Is this 1970/1971 Raleigh Grand Prix worth $50? Found on FB and asked for a few more close up photos and she dropped the price from $100 to $50. She had it listed for a couple weeks and ended up buying a new bike. Going to see it either tomorrow or Saturday. Is this maybe a later year in the 70's ? I was just going off the one sticker that mentions 1970/1971

Thinking the bike is a 70/71 based off this sticker??

Sure. That's about as low as they go for anything decent or with potential. You'll obviously need to put a little time and money into this one.

$50 would be just okay if you had a use for it but it’s really a freebie bike. Bigger issue is the fork looks bent. Low-end bike with low-value components. Not worth putting on new tires, cables, seat, etc.

The bike is not worth the fifty dollars suggested. The bent fork renders it almost useless unless the buyer has a need for the component group. To that, add the it is close to entry level and the step through design lessens the value even more. I would pass.
