Longshot
This is the sellers photo. He wants $200 at least for the lot. Trying to get in touch with him, sounds a little wacko but i see an old rusty Raleigh.Who knows what it is.
The bike that looks interesting is the one to the left of raleigh. It has drops, canti brakes, fenders ,possible touring bike?

Is the seller in Campbell River too? Could you go check in out with cash in hand?
If so, and you think the two bikes are worth $150 then you could easily offload the others for $20 each.

the Raleigh has a steel bar and solid axle hubs so cannot be above the level of a Record
the grey machine with cantis has topmount shifters which tells you it dates from 1983
it is probably the best of the bunch, whatever it is
the balance of the material looks department store and not worth hauling or storing

...I don't recall a whole lot of Raleigh bikes from that general time period with cantilever brakes except the Alyeska, which is a pretty solid touring bike. I'm probably forgetting something.

if the grey machine is a Raleigh badged item it is from the Raleigh of America (Huffman) time and clearly an asian product
the Raleigh facing out is definitley an asian product which means there is no collector/historical value/interest
my two cents is that your time and storage space are too valuable to mess with this material

I'm counting about nine bikes in that picture. So, better take a pick up truck. I'd give $200 for that and, then head straight over to my local bike shop that fixes up old bikes for charity. A working bike can make the difference between poverty and access to a job and future prosperity to many people.

Yes Korina, the interesting bike turns out to be a touring bike, a rarely seen Allegra. No relation to Swiss made bikes. I think it is Japanese made 1983,marketed by some group in Vancouver BC.As usual i stand to be corrected on that.
I made a fair offer but seller thinks a bike that has been sitting in a shed for 30 years is worth the same as a bike that has been restored. The Raleigh is a low end bike.

Sounds like the seller has problems. Too bad that he can't "let go" of all the stuff he's hoarding. But, that's reality. People think that all the junk they've accumulated over the years is important. Eventually, it all winds up at the dump. Oh well! Something else will show up sooner or later. Be good. Have fun.
