Klein quantum - worth $250??

Hi all,

I came across this Klein quantum and I am debating on pulling the trigger. They are asking $250.

Shimano 105 cranks, sun tour downtube shifting, Shimano brakes and levers, shifting works, ridable except looks like front tire is flat.

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2327203337423768/

I am 6'-2" and not sure if this would run a little small for me.

I was thinking two ideas, one just ride it and leave it be or I have a full Dura ace 7700 groupset with Mavic Open Pro wheels with White Industries hubs to possibly build it up.

What do you think? Thanks

Looks like a solid deal to me. Iím 6í2 and typically ride a 58 in order to get the right Top Tube/stem combo (TT is more important to me than ST).

the frame/fork alone is easily worth $250 IMO

Have them measure the effective top tube, compare that to what you ride now. Might be a size small for you, good deal though.

Its worth $250 --- but it might be too small --- take a spare front wheel with you to test ride it if you can because you never know -- darn thing might not hold air for a test ride. Even with the parts. the frameset is worth looking at and checking it out to see if it would fit

parts sound like a mish mash of hum drum stuff -- cheap post, seat, stem --- somebody built this from their parts stash at one point to save money -- it was likely specce'd out as a very nice bicycle when it was originally sold -- and could have been sold as a frameset only, but when this bike was new, nobody in their right mind would have built it with this parts combination

Price is great. Bike is too small for you. 57-58 is as small as I can go with most frame geometry and I'm 2" shorter.

Nice but too small

Thanks everyone for the feedback, the bike sold in a few days. It was too small for me when I got some other measurements
