Do you happen to know the tubing? Basso is a good marque, but that price seems to be a little on the higher side. Certainly more than I would pay. It is in good, not great condition paint-wise. Nothing major wrong with it, just a few chips and some decals suffering a bit. I'd be a big pass at this price, but perhaps you can bargain it down a little?

I would agree too high of price a lot like the Piazza nice Italian frame but price really high for project frame with potential issues and unknown tubing. With issues sorted out paint rust on the Piazza or Fork for the Basso ounce built up your will likely be looking at 800-1000 for the build for that price I think you can do much better even in the tough Euro market.

It should have Basso engraved on the top of the seatstays, it is also missing a 2nd set of bottle cage bosses which would date it late 70's or early 80's unless it's made of columbus Zeta which is entry level gas pipe tubing then it's a mid 80's cheap frame.
