A Nishiki, a Miyata, and a BSO walk into a bar...
Nothing my size, but the $35 price may be right, depending on their condition; hard to tell from the bad pic. Y/N? https://humboldt.craigslist.org/bop/...292839541.html

The gold bike looks like a scuffed-up, single-speeded Miyata 210.
https://www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/p...uring-Bike.jpg The turquoise bike looks to be a Nishiki Colorado. https://aea46b85c8cc3b4fb6d0-3ed00f6...e-shimano-.jpg |
Thanks Clang I couldn't quite make out the Miyata. Still debating; it might be better to let them go to someone else. There's also this, that actually is my size. But I don't need yet another project bike. But it's a Bridgestone. But it's trashed, and I'm not that fond of the rear brakes. But it's a Bridgestone. {le sigh]

I'd agree that I wouldn't be in a hurry to buy a frame only 1988 MB-5 with a chain stay U-brake (no matter how cheap, it represents negative money), but the temptation is definitely that cool CMYK+gray paint job.

I shall exercise my impulse control, and pass on everything. You have to admit though, the thread title is pretty good. ETA: What do you think of the Nishiki Colorado? |
The Colorado is actually a pretty decent hard frame I have 89 Specialized Hardrock that is nearly identical with different branding and really like it a lot nice smooth rider.
