Maybe.A 1970’s Peugeot “Record Du Monde” Mixte?

Once again I was looking through FB market and came across someone selling a 1970’s Peugeot “Record Du Monde” Mixte. The seller is asking for $75 and it looks to be in pretty good condition. I tried to find some information on this model but I am still not sure what distinguishes this from the other mixte models made in the 1970's. If anyone is interested in checking it out and providing some information that would be great.

If this is a gem, please let me know! If it's not, I would still like to know some info on it. Thanks!

Early 1970's Peugeot UO18. About a $150 entry level bike when new. There are still thousands of them out there

That's what I was thinking too. I suppose I was more curious as to what the 'Record Du Monde' was all about. That and the confidence this FB seller had regarding the value of the bike made me raise my eyebrows. But then again, it seems that there are always overzealous seller out there about vintage bikes. Thanks for confirming!

Record Du Monde basically translates to world record Puegeot put this decal on nearly all there 70's bikes after several world records were set on there bikes it doesn't mean much. Most of the major bike brands put championship strips and record decals on there bikes in the 70's the fact that someone road a bike with there brand on it to record or championship doesn't mean much on the lower end stuff.
