1987 Cannondale Dura Ace model

Everything Dura Ace excellent condition, I am going to sell it wondering how much I should sell it for
I have looked on a few sites don't see any like this.
I know what you want and what you can get are two different things, I want to set a price, so it sells I know bikes have gone up, and it depends on where you are located, big city Vancouver Canada and its bike season. Was thinking 4 or 5 hundred

If it is fully overhauled, as it looks, maybe $250 US. If you clean it up, and take better pictures, maybe $350.

.
...you could probably get $400-$450 fpr that bike, cleaned up with good pictures, on the Sacramento CL. "87 DA is fine componentry, and Cannondale frames are about what they always were...didn't change that much over the years.

Despite it been all Dura Ace I guess these are not valuable like some of the Italian bikes
I suppose you either love them or hate them, maybe being Aluminum is not so desirable. and Egg Yellow
low price easier to sell

Thanks for the replies

The pool of cyclists who would consider buying a very large older aluminum road racing bike with down-tube shifters (rather than the now-standard combined brake levers/shift levers) is likely pretty limited.

People sometimes buy bikes that are equipped with with down-tube shifters with the idea of upgrading the shifting system. You should measure the "over-locknut" dimension---the distance between dropout faces for the rear hub to determine whether it would be possible to upgrade the shifting system to "brifters." If the measurement is 128 or 130 mm, then upgrading is possible. The limiting factor is the bike's aluminum frame, which cannot be reset to a wider measurement, unlike steel frames.

Here’s one data point: about five years ago I sold one of these to a local bike mechanic for $750. It was truly pristine and a 58cm frame. This one appears to be a 60.

The one pictured is far from pristine and therefore one could reasonably expect it to sell for a somewhat reduced price from that. Likely worth removing all of the excess/non-stock decals and stickers, then cleaning, polishing and waxing the frame. They do look nice when clean and shiny Same with the components, which we really can’t see much of in the pictures other than the non-original brake pads.

If that is all Dura Ace (can't tell because of the pics), I would pay $250 in a heartbeat.

I actually ordered a 7's Chinese brifters conversion kit 2 years ago but decided to keep it all vintage when you have ridden a bike with brifters its hard to go back, like an electric bike.
