Schwinn cruiser blade forks?

I bought a cruiser that probably changed many hands.
Donít think itís worth anything more than learning and transportation and fun.

It came with blade forks that seem out of place for the rest of the bike. But I could be totally wrong.

How do I know if they are worth anything?

Iím going to learn on this and klunker it. I have a replacement with canti bosses- but I was thinking about fabbing a bracket to bolt a big dual pivot caliper on- welding it onto the blade forks and running it like that.

Forks donít have Ashtabula stamping. Forks donít have any type of brake mount or reflector mount. No extra bracing around the crown. I did try google.

Thank you.

They do have those goofy chrome hats to emulate a lug.

The forks depend on what year it was made and which model.
They made a 'Cruiser' model with bmx type forks in the early 80's, and I think the later models had some sort of unicrown fork.
All older models had Schwinn forged forks, if it came with a coaster brake, it likely didn't have a fork with a caliper boss or hole in it.
Got any pics? (of the bike and the forks).
Serial number?

Thank you.

Pulled apart. Stamped Made in China.

Good to tinker on.

Just didnít want to mess with them if they were some kind of collector item.
