Here's the local listing. I'm pretty sure it's over priced but not sure what I should try to get it for.

Here are a couple of threads on this bike,
Raleigh Technium 440 Aluminium

Raleigh Technium 440

It's not a 30 inch frame, and it's too small for anyone near 6 feet tall.
My guess is that the price is $100 too high.

"It has been stored and unused for over 20 years."

Means it must be rebuilt completely - headset, wheel hubs, and bottom bracket before riding it. Even if it still rolls you can't trust the grease as dry bearings will eat the cups and hubs.

It has stem shifters, not downtube so not as popular a model though you can replace with STI (or brifters) when you rebuild.

Seller doesn't include a price which is often code for "i don't know what it's worth so you tell me what you'll pay".

I paid $50 for a Technium 440 last fall but that's just luck on the market. certainly I'd have trouble paying over $100 on this one you've posted

First thing it's a extra small bike looks to be a 19inh frame so for a rider about 5' to 5'6" if your not in this size range you should pass on this one. Considering it's lower end model with turkey levers, stem shifters and 27 inch that likely needs a full rebuild and tires I wouldn't go much more than $100.

Ridiculous price for a low end bike. You can do a lot better. Replace the word stored with ignored. Bikes need maintenance, grease gets old, tires degrade. Price is actually listed under phone number. $250.

My mistake.

I completely missed the $250. If I'd seen that I'd have said run....

Meanwhile, a quick search of Milwaukee C/L shows some decent bikes at a similar to less price. No need to overpay in your market. No need to settle for bottom end. Also be sure to check FB Marketplace. In my area, the BEST deals right now are on FB marketplace.

That is a tiny little pinched down frame for a very small rider. Run - don't walk away from this deal. Ouch!
