Hey guys, the hoods came out good right?
Man, the bike was dirty. The detailing is mostly done. I’ll wax it next but first maybe a couple of paint touch ups.
By the way, the shifting is surprisingly precise. In my very humble opinion… I feel like it’s better than the Ultegra bikes I’ve ridden. I’m interested to know whether you think that’s possible.

no surprise since Sante is basically 600 tri color (Ultegra) with a white finish.
and yes, that stem is tiny . The bike would look more balanced with a 100 or 110 stem. Nitto makes the best in this category. Determine whether your bars are 25.4 or 26.0 in diameter and maybe Soma will have some new Nitto's for you

GREAT job mdl !!!!
I have NEVER seen hoods come THAT clean being that dirty!!!!! AND NOT being " sticky" !!!!!!!
Your solution may have just saved MANY of us from replacing vs cleaning.
How long did it take you ??
