Good Morning

just came across the following vintage bicycles

Schwinn Typhoon Red
Murray Monterey
The Raleigh Mountie
Ross Deluxe BMA

all are in what I consider good condition considering the ages minor scratches and minor surface rust

Try to post the pictures of each bike to the Gallery at the top of page. You won't see them but we can access them and repost for you. Give it a shot.

Probably a Raleigh Mountie.

Hey there, these bikes are not well discussed to any great extent in C&V. The best forum for evaluation is The Cabe, it's easy to sign into and there's lots of support and enthusiasm for American motorbikes. Your (nice) Raleigh does fall in the C&V category but it's a juvenile bike and doesn't really have a lot of value. Not trying to give you a run-around, it's just the best place for an assessment.

The pic is '64 but I got it in '63 from my older cousin. His age and the overlapping chainguard makes my guess it's a '57.. I rode dozens of kilometres along the Humber river on solo picnics at 6 years old. Different world.

I loved that Mountie.
